Health at Work

Although many people cringe when they hear the words 'health and safety' as they associate it with strict and often over the top regulations which can even prevent them from doing their job properly, but in fact it is a very important topic which should be taken seriously to avoid a No Win No Fee situation.

I am not talking about potential accidents here although this area is also very important. I am talking about your everyday health at work and how you can keep as fit and healthy as possible in the working environment.

If you are working at a computer all day long there are several potential health problems that can develop. Back pain is common if you do not sit correctly on the chair and so is neck pain if your desk is arranged in such a way that you have to keep turning your neck.

Eye strain is also a very common problem for people working at a desk all day and this can also lead to headaches, so it is important to get your eyes checked on a regular basis. If you are typing quite often at high speed, then another danger is that you may fall prey to repetitive strain injury.

You have to be vigilant and watch your own health in the workplace to ensure that you stay fit and healthy.
